About these terms
These terms apply to this website and to every order placed with The Artisan. By requesting a quote, approving a mockup or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not order.
Quotes and pricing
The prices on our pricing page are starting prices. The final price depends on size, stitch count, quantity, design complexity and where the order ships to, and we confirm it in your quote before any work begins.
A quote covers the scope written in it. If the size, quantity, colours or complexity change, the price can change, and we tell you before we continue.
Mockups and approval
Every service starts with a mockup for you to approve. Production, printing, stitching and manufacturing begin only after you give final approval. The approved mockup is what we make, so please check spelling, colours, sizes and placement carefully before you approve.
Revisions are included as described in your quote.
Minimum quantities
Some products have minimums: custom patches start at 50 pieces, custom caps at 10 to 15 caps, and leather jacket bulk orders at 5 to 10 jackets. We do not accept patch orders below 50 pieces, but mockup services are available.
Your artwork and rights
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, every logo, image, name and design you send us. We may decline or stop work that appears to infringe someone else’s rights, and you are responsible for any claim that arises from artwork you supplied.
Once an order is paid in full, the finished files and products made for you are yours. We keep the right to show finished work in our portfolio and on social media unless you ask us in writing not to.
Payment
Payment terms for each order, including whether a deposit is needed before production begins and which payment methods are available, are confirmed in your quote. Prices are in US dollars unless the quote says otherwise.
If you need different payment terms, ask us before you approve the order.
Delivery and shipping
Digital files are delivered by email or download link. Physical orders are sent by air or ground courier to your door, worldwide.
Shipping is priced by destination, quantity and delivery method. Custom patches ship for $200 to $250 depending on destination, and cap shipping is confirmed in your quote. Business card packages and the leather jacket sample include shipping. We confirm the expected delivery time in your quote.
Customs duties, import taxes and local fees charged by your country are your responsibility.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel an order within 6 hours of placing it. After that, production may have started and the order cannot be cancelled. Our Refund Policy explains revisions, refunds and what we do when something is not right.
Delays and liability
We work to deliver on time, but delays can happen, including delays from couriers, customs and material supply. We are not liable for losses caused by delays outside our reasonable control.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
